Welcome!
In order to watch The Chosen, you will need a TV or device that supports streaming. Some newer TV’s have apps built-in to them that can be used, however, not all TV’s have built-in apps. In these cases, you will need an external device that connects to your TV that provides streaming services. A few popular options are: Amazon’s FireStick, Chromecast, ROKU, HULU, Direct TV and a many others. (For more information about connecting these external devices, watch the corresponding video in the STREAMING section of this website.)
Once you get your streaming in order, you will need an app to watch the show. Think of these apps as Networks (which usually are on our TV’s as TV Channels.) While each “network” may have several shows on it, The Chosen has thier own app (network) that just shows ONE show. So while another app may have shows of The Chosen on it, you can directly download the app for The Chosen and watch all the series, bonus content and AfterShow segments – FREE!
If you have a TV that has a built-in app store, select one and add it to your favorites list or so that it is quickly accesible. To help you figure it out, we have prepared this article which demonstrates all the simple ways in which you can watch The Chosen on your smart TV. Keep reading to find out more!
About The Chosen app
Rather than relying on another app to see the show, The Chosen went the extra mile and just made their entire experience their OWN APP! The best thing about this is that IT IS FREE! While it might take a few steps to get it set up so you can watch it, we are here to guide you through this process. Usually, once you get things properly downloaded and installed, you won’t need to repeat this process again…whew!
Originally, The Chosen was only available on the ANGEL Studios app. They helped launch the world-wide phenomenon with the use of crowd funding. Now with the help from the Come And See Foundation, the show has their own app and is also available to be seen in many other ways. Of course, Angel is still a great way to watch the show but it doesn’t have the similar content you will find on TheChosen.tv
Is it a Streaming app or Mobile app?
BOTH! Don’t be confused, The Chosen is not only an app in streaming stores, it is also available as a mobile app. Basically this just means that you can watch the show on a smart TV in several ways. While at first it might seem confusing, just realize that the show is possible to be seen in a variety of ways. Even though there are many solutions and options, you only need ONE of them to allow you to start watching the show.
Smart TVs have become more and more popular and useful due to their versatility and convenient form of entertainment with the use of streaming. That being said, The Chosen app still needs to be installed on your Smart TV since it doesn’t “come with” your TV.
Also, since The Chosen is a mobile application, you can easily download it from both the Apple and Google app stores. For your information, the Google app store and Apple app store directly provide this application for free. So you can stream The Chosen app on your smartphone and cast it to your TV.
